Please ensure your address details are correct. If any errors have been made on the delivery address, we are not responsible if items are incorrectly delivered or returned to us as undelivered. We reserve the right to request a further postal charge in instances where an address error leads to an order being returned to us as undelivered. We only accept responsibility for any incorrect or returned deliveries if an error with the address has been made by ourselves during the processing and/or addressing of the order.
Any delivery instructions should be made at checkout. We cannot guarantee instructions made at a later time will be actioned.
We aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours. However, if the item is temporarily out of stock there will be a delay. If items can be replenished immediately, your order will be dispatched once they are back in stock, typically taking a few days to arrive into our warehouse. Any delays will be relayed to the customer via the email address provided on the order.
We cannot be held responsible for any delays to orders once they have been dispatched. Buyers should be mindful of any deadlines they have for their orders. This is particularly the case during peak-times for the postal system, such as Christmas, or during any extreme circumstances, such as postal strikes or pandemic lockdowns, when items take longer to be delivered.
Any issues with items lost or damaged in the post will be raised with the relevant postal company. Items are not deemed lost by Royal Mail until 15 working days after dispatch.
We accept no liability for any failure to deliver goods that you have ordered or for any delay in doing so, or for any damage or defect of goods delivered caused by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes and other industrial disputes, lock-outs, terrorism, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, accident or severe weather.
Returns
Please contact us straight away via info@equestrianbookfair.com or the contact us page, if you are unhappy with any product.
We will happily exchange or refund any unopened items, provided that the items are returned within 14 days of delivery. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it in and in the original packaging. If it is not possible to return items in the original packaging, items must be packed in similar packaging and to the same standard as they were originally dispatched. We cannot accept returns of any open or used items, or items with tags removed. Returns must be securely packaged to remain safe in transit. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit; we advise a tracking method is used for peace of mind with all returns.
If you wish to make a return, please email us at info@equestrianbookfair.com within 7 days of receiving your order. If you have received an item different to your order or that has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately to resolve the matter. Any issues with damage in transit will be raised with the relevant postal company.
If your item is faulty, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to resolve this.
We cannot accept responsibility for change of mind. If there has been no error on our part, we will only refund the cost of the item. In these instances, we will not refund the delivery charge and you will be responsible for the return postage and packaging. Refunds and exchanges will be processed upon receipt of goods that are in resaleable condition.
We cannot rectify any issues that we are unaware of. If we do not receive notification of any issues with your order, you will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. Any claims of non-delivery must be raised within 28 days of the order date. Pre-orders are exempt from this, and must be raised within 28 days of the dispatch date.
Pre-orders
Any pre-order items are advertised with the current estimated delivery information in mind. These dates are subject to change and are out of our control. We will communicate any delays to customers, and update listing information, at the soonest opportunity. Once into stock, all pre-orders will be dispatched as quickly as possible.
At any time, we are happy to answer any questions or queries regarding the status of pre-orders, whether you have placed an order already or are contemplating an order. Do not hesitate to ask.
Worldwide issues, such as diversions to shipping routes, can cause extended delays to our shipments coming in. Unfortunately, these delays are out of our hands.
We give precise ETAs dates, where possible, for example, an exact date, week or month. However, in some cases we are only able to give a wide estimate, for example, 'autumn' or 'early 2025'. Dates provided by the supplier are reflective of how close to the UK an order is; more precise information is available the closer a shipment is to docking in the UK. If an order has not yet left or has only just left it's origin country, we work off a vague, wide window. We can only ever work to the date information provided by our suppliers; some suppliers are more informative than others.
Unless arrangements have been agreed prior to ordering, any orders placed through our website that contain both instock and pre-order items will be split. Instock items will be sent immediately and pre-order items will follow, in line with the current stated estimate provided on the listing. Please bear in mind, these dates are subject to change, as per above. Please note, this splitting does not affect non-website orders, for example, via phone, email or Facebook, where arrangements in these circumstances are discussed and agreed during the order process.

We are a working shop and tradestand company. Items may have been on display in our shop or on our tradestand. With rarer, older items, some slight shop wear is understandable. Any adverse wear to items will be communicated with customers prior to dispatch.
